I am so excited to be a part of the crochet community. Crochet is more than a hobby or a craft to me; it's my passion (it's also my stress therapy and my favorite meditation practice).

My name is Gretchen. I have been in love with crochet for more than 20 years. I taught myself how to crochet when I was pregnant with my daughter and I have been hooked ever since. In the 90's, educational resources were not as abundant as they are today. If you didn't have a mom or grandma who could teach you, you either borrowed someone else's or learned from books like I did. I feel blessed to be in a position where I can help new fiber artists begin their crochet journey by providing tutorials, patterns, tips and tricks, and oodles of inspiration.
